Ample time will be spent photographing the landscape of the wild Rogue River. Instruction will cover a wide range of Landscape and Travel subjects from packing gear, to pulling off unforgettable shots morning to night.
Riverside Lodge Stay
This unique and unforgettable trip takes it up a notch as we spend each night along the river in a comfortable, historic riverside lodge. Each lodge is unique, provides gourmet meals and all bedding. The lodges are only reachable by boat.

The Photography: This trip will provide a supportive and educational environment to practice and improve photography skills while capturing the dramatic light, fall colors, wildlife and scenery of the Rogue. Topics will include travel, landscape, action, portraiture photography, planning and packing your gear, what to bring, and special techniques that the pro's use.Why this trip will change your life: After spending over a decade traveling the world and taking pictures Jared has come to realize that one of most beautiful and pristine places in the world is my backyard. He has traveled this section of river many times, during different seasons and each time my experience was awe inspiring. The time of year has been specifically chosen for it's "quiet energy and color" and Momentum River Expeditions because of their safety, organic natural foods they serve and because I think they are one of best in the country. I believe the time spent away from the "real world" engaging in creative expression will give back 10x the cost and effort of getting there.
